Headroom Designs Bistronomia’s Second Rambla Branch

Headroom was featured on BluPrint for the interior design of Bistronomia’s second Rambla branch in Salcedo Village, Makati. The 320-sqm restaurant was envisioned as a refined yet approachable space, with seating across the ground floor, mezzanine, and an intimate alfresco area. The design captures the festive soul of Spanish dining while maintaining a balance of elegance, warmth, and functionality.

A key design approach was to create interiors that would “age beautifully,” where time and use enrich the textures of mahogany wood floors, hand-painted Machuca tiles, and intricate wall and ceiling moldings. The central bar, thoughtfully positioned near the kitchen, anchors the space both functionally and visually, while pendant lighting and high ceilings elevate the dining atmosphere. Details such as acrylic mirror panels, ceiling fans, and carefully placed spotlights expand the sense of space and highlight curated food and wine selections.
